Despite some restrictions on religious practice in Tibet (due to the Chinese occupation), Buddhism is still a dominant social force. Here, on the outskirts of Lhasa, more than 200,000 Tibetans gathered for a Boddhisattva teaching - and all were served tea by the monks!
